The following is a complilation of suggestions from

and who don't use their anger harmfully, either.
- Scream in a pillow
- Run in circles until you are panting.
- Go be alone.
- Pet your cat or dog.
- Watch TV.
- Talk to a friend.
- Throw a ball at the wall, garage, door, tree, etc.
- Punch a pillow or stuff animal.
- Go swimming.
- Draw a mad picture and then rip it to shreds.
- Look at something funny.
- Try to laugh.
- Write down your feelings.
- Write a mad letter and then crumple it up.
- Clean your room, the garage, the back porch, the basement.
- Hide in your special hiding place.
- Spin in circles until you're dizzy.
- Hang a target up. Kick, punch or hit it.
- Pretend you called the cops and you are telling the police all about
the terrible things the person who did you are mad at.
- Remember your good feelings.
- Go to someone and ask for help.
- Hit your bed with the flat part of a tennis racquet.
- Go out to the driveway and stomp on chalk. It makes a great noise.
